Jewelry Box

Are jewelry boxes ideal gifts for mothers? I really think it depends. Although I am more incline to believe that women prefer to receive a gift of jewelry to a jewelry box. Perhaps jewelry boxes are nice to have but not a must have.

Here I am referring to a jewelry box, not a jewelry chest. Although a jewelry box can be large but they come in much smaller sizes compared to a jewelry chest. We will confine our discussion to only jewelry boxes and perhaps keep jewelry chest for another discussion.

I’m sure mothers will appreciate receiving a jewelry box from their children. It might be helpful to know if your mother is a collector of jewelry boxes. If she is, get her to talk about her collection of boxes and take note of her taste. This will help you know what type of jewelry box to get for her. If she is not a collector and does not have many jewelry boxes, find a jewelry box that is most appropriate for her jewelry collection.
